Southern Avenue Interceptor Rehabilitation - Phase 2

This project included the CIPP rehabilitation of 18,600 feet of 36-inch, 1,900 feet of 42-inch and 11,500 feet of 48-inch sewer main on Southern Avenue (Tempe Canal to Hardy Drive) and Priest Drive (Broadway Road to Rio Salado). In addition to manhole rehabilitation (68 each), bypass pumping, and a jack and bore under the railroad crossing on Southern Avenue and Kyrene Road, the project included the creation of a diversion structure on Priest Drive north of Broadway Road. This structure provides the City of Tempe the opportunity to better manage its flows.
